From shadowy sounds capes and darkjazzigen smoke Simon Scott created on his second album "Bunny" mysterious Surrealitäten. The English sound designer creates here a series of bizarre and stunning mood that spread slowly in dark, lynchischen sound spaces.
The recently published "Below Sea Level" is abstract, however, reduced and lighter failed, so forming a harmonious counterpoint to its predecessor. Based on field recordings from the lying below sea level, East Anglian region, The Fens, the pieces drifting weightlessly through lush layers of synthetic and natural sounds, distortions, additions.
"Below Sea Level" was published in May 2012 with 12k on CD (12K1071). "Bunny" was published in October 2011 by Miasmah (MIA017) on CD and vinyl. Both albums can be listened to on the websites of the label in its entirety.
