Lollapalooza was canceled for fear of storm
The popular music festival Lollapalooza was temporarily suspended today and nearly 100,000 people were evacuated to places of refuge from the threat of a severe storm, as organizers said on the website of the event, held in the U.S. city of Chicago.
"I say: just looks amazing. The sky is black and just went over the roof next to flying by the window, "he wrote on Twitter Alex Kapranos, lead singer of the band Franz Ferdinand, who was scheduled to perform at the festival.
The organizers decided to restart after the event, after evaluating with local authorities and that climatic conditions were safe for the thousands of people who had planned to attend the outdoor shows.
At Lollapalooza, which started Friday and ends tomorrow, participating bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Black Sabbath, among others.
